One day, when showing a distressed property to a long-time client, I began to ask the agent showing the property a number of questions about some… odd… disclosures. After several minutes of back and forth, the agent asked that I put our concerns in an email, and she would get answers. My clients and I continued looking around the property when suddenly one of them said, “See, that’s why you’re our guy.”
I paused.
